Virtus.pro signs up for WESG 2017

The Polish team Virtus.pro has applied for the new season of WESG, signing up to participate in the polish online-qualifier, where two spots for the Regional Finals will be played off.

Virtus.pro is one of the most famous and popular CS:GO-teams in the world, and what is more important, it is a one-nationality squad. Due to that fact, Virtus.pro can participate in World Electronic Sports Games without any trouble and fight for the lion’s share of a huge $1.5 million prize-pool.

Players of Virtus.pro are no strangers for the system of this tournament, because they have participated in WESG 2016. The Polish five made it to the Grand Finals stage and finished on the 3rd place back then, defeating Space Soldiers and earning itself $200.000. Accompanied by the announcement of WESG 2017, VP got another chance to redeem itself and take the fight for a championship title once again, that was predicted for them in the previous season.
